Prepping, Packing & Pictures: where we are headed next.

Planning and packing for a trip should be fun! It’s a time when you get to actually start picturing yourself in that location. So why is it that you always feel a little overwhelmed or anxious right before you leave? I wish I had tips to give. But every trip, no matter how organized I think I am, we are still figuring it out.

Next up we are road tripping to SOUTHERN COLORADO. I couldn’t be more thrilled to see the San Juan Mountains and the Aspens changing into their fall colors. While staying in Durango, we plan on driving up to Telluride, Silverton, Ouray and a few ghost towns hopefully!

I should make a meme out of this: 🤣

When you tell your husband you wanna road trip across the country with your in laws….

Hahaha. We actually really love going on trips with his parents. So when his dad talked about a train ride in SoCo that took you up the mountains right next to a river, I was like HEY BABEEEEE. LETS GO.

So naturally I’m excited for all the causal, comfortable mountain outfits and of course the amazing scenery. LOL

Here’s a sneak peek of my suitcase and what I’m packing for Colorado.

From this post I hope you get an idea of what to pack, what crazy hikes to take (and when to take them!) and where to stay while you are there. Continue reading “Zion National Park: What to Pack, Where to Hike, Where to Stay”
